The shingle and stone beach at
NISSAKI is very pretty, sitting in a horseshoe bay with a taverna at one end. It was three beautiful pebble beaches necklaced together but one of Corfu beaches, at
KROUZERI, is now dominated by the huge Nissaki Beach Hotel and a Club Med complex that looks about as attractive as a military training camp. The main Nissaki beach though, away from the hotels, is quiet and has good snorkeling but it can get busy when day tripping boats arrive. There are lots of deserted rocky coves nearby to explore if you follow the coastal path. There are no toilets on the beach though you can use the taverna if you buy a drink.
