The Best Beaches in Corfu

Located off the west coast of Greece, Corfu can be reached in a variety of ways. It's an easy trip for those traveling from Europe right into the Corfu Airport. Ferries come from Italy and cruise ships from all over the world. Visitors travel here to experience the small villages and beaches. The best time to visit is from May until October. July and August are the hottest months.

One of the most photographed beach areas on Corfu, Sidari Canal d Amour, or "Channel of Love," is made up of coves and channels created by the sea. The village of Dasia is very touristy with shops, hotels along the back of the beach. Boasting clear water, there are also no waves, which makes swimming much easier. Kalami Beach offers clean water with lush greenery as a backdrop. Peaceful and small, Kalami beach is sought after by those wanting to "get away from it all."
